COMPANY INFORMATION

Our client is a leading provider of equipment and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries. They are currently seeking an Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to be based in northern Germany.

YOU MUST HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING

• You have graduated to Dipl.-Ing. of electrical engineering, technical computer science, communications engineering or have completed an equivalent qualification
• You are able to implement new creative product ideas and technologies into existing board designs and equipment
• Ideally you have experiences in the life calculation of circuits
• You have very good knowledge of hardware development
• Knowledge of field bus (RS485, CAN, DSL) is an advantage
• You have knowledge of multi-layer systems - layout strategies and printed circuit technology
Knowledge of C, Python and MATLAB/Simulink, PSPICE and ALTIUM are preferable
• You have good English skills (spoken and written) and are fluent in German
• You are flexible, a team player and able to work independently

ROLE INFORMATION

• You conceptualize analog and digital circuits for technical control applications in the deep sea in the low-voltage, power and communication electronics
• You create block diagrams and develop appropriate product concepts
• You are responsible for analog and digital circuit simulations
• You optimize existing analog and digital circuits to implement new functionality and to increase the lifetime of the circuit continuously
• You develop and produce suitable tools for commissioning, functional verification and qualification of components with regard to EMV, thermal and reliability
• You cooperate with external development and manufacturing partners in Germany, Europe and USA
