Are you an experienced applications engineer in the semiconductor equipment industry? Are you interested to work on the next generation of optical metrology and lithography?
Our client is one of the World leaders in optical technology, and they currently need an applications engineer to join the semiconductor Inspection equipment team. This is an excellent role on the next generation of inspection equipment, working with EUV technology.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Conduct Customer demo's both in-house and at customer sites.
Develop new process, working together with the customer
Define customer requirements.
Provide training to both internal and external [client] teams
Provide consultations with regards to applications support
Travel to customers sites throughout the World (approx 20% travel a year)
The ideal candidates will have the following:
Existing experience as an applications engineer in the semiconductor equipment industry
Alternatively process experience, and development experience would be considered.
A degree in Engineer/Physics with a strong emphasis on optical metrology / lithography - Masters or PhD graduates would be a bonus.
Fluent English is a must, fluent German would be beneficial but not required.
