Analogue RFIC Design Engineer, Cambridge

We are searching for an Analogue RFIC Design Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation and verification of wireless chips. The Engineer will be responsible for the design and physical implementation of Analogue / RF sub-cells and may also contribute to the design of complex sub-cells.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the development and verification of medium complexity sub-cells within the Analogue / RF section of a chip
* Work closely with layout, digital and system engineers to deliver the overall transceiver system
* Building their expertise in the design of Analogue / RF sub-cells
* Receives some technical support and guidance from Senior Engineers
* Works with Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of sub-systems

We are searching for an Engineer with the following profile:

* Good academic background
* Strong analytical skills in analogue / RF circuits
* Highly motivated individual with a solid understanding of general communication theory and analogue / RF design skills.
* Ability to design Analogue / RF circuits with supervision and guidance
* Capable of delivering tasks on schedule
* Able to collaborate effectively with other staff
* Some experience in the design of radio sub-systems such as Bluetooth, Wifi will be a plus
* Some experience in the use of Matlab and other system design tools will be a plus
* Knowledge in the use of Cadence or Mentor Graphics in Analogue / RF design and verification tools will be a plus
