Semiconductor company based in Ireland seeks Senior Analog IC Design Engineer. Key skills: Analog (Analogue) IC Design, RF IC, SERDES, PLLs, Clock and Data Recovery (CDR), data converters, oscillators.
Our client is a successful multinational company which has a exciting opportunity for an experienced Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join their design centre based in Southern Ireland.
Working as part of the Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design team, you will be involved in developing high speed serial communication interfaces and SERDES transceivers. Here you will be required to specify, model and design high speed circuits including continuous linear equalizers, PLLs, clock and data recovery circuits.
Industry degree qualified (or equivalent), the successful applicant will have a strong understanding of Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design and analysis, simulation techniques, process technology and architectural modelling.
Experience is required in one of more of the following;
- High speed SERDES
- high performance data converters and high speed (GHz)
- Amplifier design
- Clock and Data Recovery
- Continuous time linear equalizers or filters
- Transmit circuits with pre-emphasis
- Transmission line and channel modeling
- Modelling of non-linear circuits
- PLL and oscillator design
Excellent problem solving skills are required along with good communication skills and the ability to design innovative circuits.
