Superb opportunity in Hertfordshire for a motivated Embedded C Software Engineer to develop leading consumer technology specifically focused on DLNA related features. The position will be within a growing team, immersed in real-time product development, delivering high quality and robust solutions against a novel and aggressive consumer product roadmap.

Applicants must be passionate about technology They should have knowledge of:
-C programming
-Linux and standard GNU tool chains
-Network streaming protocols - e.g, RTSP, RTP etc.
-Experience with uPnP/DLNA compliant solutions

Desirable Skills include:
- RTOS experience with multi-threading preferred,
- Knowledge of audio and video codecs,
- Knowledge of internet protocols and delivery mechanisms.

Primary responsibilities will include:
Coding, Primarily ANSI C Code with Objective C, Linux Environment with GNU tools, Potential graphical developments to include EFL / Java / Android, Connectivity, Media streaming/sharing between platforms using GStreamer Framework together with open source uPnP libraries, DLNA / uPnP related feature development to include DMS, DMR, DMC and other DLNA Profiles,
