My Hampshire based client, a global microprocessor manufacturer, are currently seeking a Contract Test Technician to join their team.
The role is to test and find specification mismatches in my client's range of products. This will involve executing test scripts, finding and reporting issues and being involved with issue fixing and testing.
The necessary skills for this Contract Test Technician role are:
-Ability to comprehend and use in-house PC tools
- Analytical skills and proven problem solving skills
- Experience in any of below:
- Electronics development or test
- Software development or test (software & firmware)
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to communicate well
Desired Skills
- Schematic & PCB reading
- Circuit fault finding
- Using diagnostic tools (Multi-meter, Oscilloscope, signal generator etc)
- Knowledge of product testing
- Labview experience
- Knowledge of Python , C and C# programming languages
- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, USB
