Our client has developed a unique reputation in the special effects market with their image processing technology. Their products have been used on many high profile films.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a QA Manager / Lead Test Analyst to join their software QA team to help test their award-winning products and ensure that top quality software is delivered to their clients.
As well as leading and supporting a professional team, you'll design test cases and execute test plans for our client's high-end visual effects products. The role is not exclusively manual testing, as they maintain an in-house, automated test harness; you will also be responsible for creating automated tests via Python scripting. You will also communicate with users regarding external alpha and beta programmes and support.
You'll need a good technical background (degree in Maths, Physics or Computer Science or similar numerate subject) and excellent organisational skills. Most importantly, a genuine passion for computer graphics, visual effects / image processing is essential! It's not just another test role, so please don't apply for this job unless you have a real interest in the technology, as the company is looking for a candidate who gets fired up about what they do!
