I am currently seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer with knowledge of lithium-ion batteries and their application in industrial products. I am working with a leader in the test & measurement instrumentation field. They currently require a Hardware Design Engineer - Lithium Ion batteries to join them on a contract basis in support of one of their development projects.
You will be responsible for
-integrating lithium ion batteries in to the hardware design of my client's products
- liaising with battery suppliers to obtain battery specs
- briefing engineers internally on battery specs, properties and design implications
- designing electronics "around" the batteries
The ideal candidate for this Hardware Design Engineer - Lithium Ion Batteries role will have design experience encompassing both analogue and digital design as well as experience with lithium ion batteries and their applications in the design and development of medium sized products. You may have gained relevant experience whilst working on li-ion batteries for portable radios, portable test or measurement equipment, marine equipment.
