Based near Bristol our client is currently seeking a Project Engineer on a permanent basis. The role will demand a technical product development background with the ability to liaise and bring together different areas and stakeholders within the project to meet time, quality and cost targets.
Key requirements:
Manufacturing background in Electronics or RF design being highly desirable
Experience of managing projects and engineers as well as multi-disciplinary, matrix teams and activities.
Experienced in the development, test and transfer to manufacture of RF, microwave products and systems in defence, aerospace and communications sector.
Development engineer skills.
Data analysis experience.
Some concept/design experience preferable.
Knowledge of 5S, 7W and lean manufacturing tools.
Continuous improvement planning and delivery.
