Our client is an established semiconductor developer for the communication industry currently seeking an Analog/Mixed Signal IC Layout Engineer for their design centre in the UK.
This is a new position for a motivated Analog/Mixed Signal IC Layout engineer to perform full-custom, Analog/Mixed Signal IC layout. In this position you will be liaising with Analog, RF and Digital IC designers working in CMOS and SiGe technologies and will be responsible for the preparation of full-custom IC layout data, submitting layout data to foundries and maintenance of design and layout libraries as well as some elements of design work.
Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful Analog/Mixed Signal IC Layout engineer will have some previous experience in Analog/Mixed Signal IC Layout as well as knowledge of semiconductor physics and Analog circuit behaviour. Knowledge is required in Cadence based design and layout. RF circuit layout knowledge and/or experience in Nanoencounter would be an advantage.
