Our client is a multi-national semiconductor company and currently seeks a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer for their design centre situated in Austria.
In this position you will be responsible for Analog and Mixed Signal IC Design down to 32nm and below (including device level block design) and will carry the overall technical responsibility for project completion.
You will be responsible for specification and definition of Analog/Mixed Signal blocks/systems, according to customer requirements and you will actively participate in concept development for mixed signal SoCs. PreSales support for mixed signal project acquisition will also be a strong focus of the position, as will technical presentations to customers, which you will be expected to lead.
Flexibility to travel and work at different locations (for limited periods) is a requirement of the post as well as providing technical guidance to less senior design engineers.
The successful Principal Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will have established experience in Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design and proven design success.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: BCD (Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS) technologies, Audio, Power management or High speed interfaces. System level experience in mixed signal is also required, preferably with Matlab & Verilog AMS. You will ideally be an expert user of Cadence and Mentor tools.
Excellent communication skills are required in English with a willingness to learn German, an asset.
