An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join one of the fastest growing electronics companies in the world.
Our client's technologies are at the heart of more than half a billion of the world's most desirable consumer electronics products in the market today. Chip design is an integral part of their thriving business, and they currently seek a talented Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join their team working on the latest digital video chipsets.
In this innovative, fast-paced role, you will have the opportunity to work on every stage of the ASIC Design flow process for the latest video encoder chips. This is a purely technical position, yet plenty of scope exists to progress into a team leadership position should you wish to.
Our client is seeking someone with:
*A good academic background, with a Bachelors degree (minimum) in Electronic Engineering or similar
*A number of years prior working experience in ASIC/VLSI Design, with emphasis on RTL Design (VHDL/Verilog), through verification and synthesis
*Excellent communication skills, and a keen interest to work in the digital video domain (previous experience working in Video not essential)
The right candidate will be a self-starter, able to pick up the project quickly and see it through to successful completion. It's a fantastic opportunity to see your work out there in some of the most iconic consumer products on the market - hugely satisfying!
