Our North Lincolnshire based client, a major baked foods manufacturer are currently looking to appoint a Contract Specification Technologist to ensure that all products and packaging adhere to legal and customer requirements as well as deputising for the Specifications manager in their absence.
You will be responsible for ensuring that:
*Supplier approval information is up to date
*Specifications systems are updated and maintained
*Relevant departments are liaised with to ensure packaging contains accurate information
*Factory process specifications are correct and issued appropriately
*COSHH information on all raw materials is held, available and regularly reviewed
The successful candidate for the Contract Specification Technologist position will be logical, practical and computer literate. You will have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a food manufacturing Technical Function and have good knowledge of compositional and labelling legislation.
