
Graduate Analogue Design Engineer, Cambridgeshire
We are searching for a Graduate to join our client's team and to work on the design, development and maintenance of analogue board-level circuit designs.
The role will include but not be limited to:
Carry out new design activities in response to new and changing requirements.
Take designs through development and into production, handling issues encountered during new product introduction.
Pick up and understand existing designs boards sufficiently to maintain those designs through production and continue with further development for product enhancements.
Work with customers to integrate products into their products, and devise solutions to product-level issues.
We are searching for an Analogue Design Engineer with the following profile:
Excellent academic background
Design of linear analogue and mixed-signal circuits using discrete BJT, FETs and ICs at frequencies up to 1GHz.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Any of the following will be pluses:
Experience of the design, analysis and implementation of analogue closed-loop feedback control systems.
Experience of implementing, testing and measuring the performance of high-speed analogue and RF circuits, including PCB designs, prototyping, etc.
Knowledge of applicable test equipment used for measurements - network analysers, component analysers, scopes, spectrum analysers, etc.
Appreciation of RF design and working methods as applied to analogue circuits and the characteristics of components at high frequencies.
Good practical skills including the soldering of small surface-mount components.
