My client is looking for a proactive Lead GPU ASIC Verification Engineer to lead their highly specialised team from specification to execution for their high performance, low consumption 3D graphics processors. This exciting multinational company designs the world's most advanced IP, and is looking for a talented graphics and ASIC verification expert to provide innovative and efficient ASIC verification techniques and pioneer new technologies in the next generation of advanced graphics cores at their site in Norway.

You will need to have the enthusiasm, drive and initiative to be at the forefront of advanced multimedia IP, and will be responsible for defining and implementing the verification strategy and mentoring and developing junior engineers.
The ideal candidate will have:
*A thorough understanding of the current ASIC verification strategies required for complex IP development, including constrained random, coverage driven and assertion-based techniques.
*Experience in planning the verification process, experience in block level, unit level and system level verification.
*Experience of VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog/SystemC/Specman and UVM, OVM, VMM or eRM methodologies.
*Direct3D, OpenGL, OpenGL|ES, OpenCL and/or OpenVG development experience and programming experience in C/C++, Unix and Shell
*CPU/GPU/ Formal or Assertion based verification experience, and experience of prototyping and/or emulation.

Effective problem solving, communication and team leadership and mentoring skills are essential, as well as a 1st or 2:1 in a relevant degree.
