Our client is searching for a Device Simulation Research Scientist to be responsible for supporting and developing new device technologies. The role will involve working within two research areas including GaN power devices as well as silicon solar cells. Investigating new technologies will be required as well as working with R&D scientists in different areas including PV and opto-electronics.
Required skills for the successful Device Scientist will include the following;
-Strong semiconductor device simulation experience
-GaN power device and/or silicon solar cell technology knowledge desirable
-Previous experience of working within an R&D environment
-Strong communication skills
-PhD in Physics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
