We are looking to recruit an RF Design Engineer to join a highly successful telecoms infrastructure manufacturer, based on the outskirts of Cambridge.
The position is for an RF Design Engineer who has a good degree and experience in 'professional' RF electronics design - ideally for commercial mobile communications applications but other areas such as military will definitely be considered.
Experience in Optical Communications - Lasers, fibre optics, etc would be very beneficial.
You will be designing high quality receiver circuits, amplification chains and transmitters at frequencies of up to 6GHz. This will also include some digital electronics for switching and an ideal applicant will have experience of optical communication with 'RF over Fibre' along with RF simulation and measurement activities.
