As the Sales Manager you will lead and manage a team of highly experienced field based Sales and Strategic Account Managers within a specialist technology division.
You will be responsible for driving incremental sales and achieving monthly profit budgets within the UK region.
You will ensure sales and marketing tactics are in line with the group's strategy and values and through continuous improvement effectively execute quarterly sales plans.
We are looking for an individual who has exceptional people management skills, who can drive sales growth through engaging, inspiring and developing their people. You will have the commercial and technical range to lead a high performing regional sales team, an excellent influencer who can gain commitment internally and externally.
To be successful in the position of Sales Manager you will have a proven track record in technology based demand creation and credible within design and development engineering environments to enable you to control and monitor the design in and design win funnel programs.
We are driving for high performance and you will need to demonstrate a proven track record of sales and performance management, creating, implementing and driving strategic sales growth plans, experience of change management, account management, P&L and strong influencing skills gained within the Electronic Industry, ideally within the Component Distribution market sector or closely associated OEM.
