Senior Software Development Engineer, Bristol
We are searching for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our client's team and to develop and expand customer support.
This will include both in house development and may include visits to customers as necessary to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction to get products to market in a timely manner. Candidates will be able to lead the customer relationship and provide excellent levels of support.
We are searching for an experienced Software Engineer with the following profile:
Working knowledge of C or C++ in a real time embedded processor environment
Experience with MPEG2 HD/SD, NTSC, and PAL video/audio
Familiarity with Set-Top-Box applications, middleware, and driver software design
Programming on a RTOS such as Linux
Any knowledge of the MIPS processor and assembly language is a plus
