Electronics Engineer (post graduate calibre) with electronics hardware or semiconductor ASIC design skills is required on a permanent employment in the Wiltshire / Thames Valley / South West area (e.g. commutable from the likes of Swindon, Bristol, Chippenham, Reading, Oxford, Newbury, Cirencester, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Avon, M4 Corridor etc.).
The Electronics Engineer will join an international high-technology semiconductor business who work within the electronics hardware and microelectronics industry. This role will join the Product Engineering Team that forms the link between R&D and Production. The position will provide plenty of hands-on design related experience with electronics hardware, semiconductor chipsets, and associated instrumentation, test systems, and verification processes.
For consideration as the Electronics Engineer, of post graduate calibre, you should ideally be qualified to post graduate degree level or equivalent (PhD or MEng preferred) in an Electronics Engineering, or Microelectronics, or similar subject where there is a bias on electronics hardware or semiconductor ASIC chipset design disciplines. Any relevant professional experience would be a distinct bonus (e.g. sandwich placements, year in industry, industrial placements).
Communication skills are key for this role as it involves regular liaison with various departments within the company and as such you will need to be an excellent communicator in both written and verbal English.
