R&D Power Electronics - Wind Turbine / UPS / Solar - Germany

Based in Germany, our client, a leading Power Electronics company are currently seeking several Power Electronics R&D Engineers with a demonstrable track record in the Power Electronics industry. Responsibilities will include Designing / Developing Power Electronics for the Renewable Energy sector, setting up test bench to develop and test power inverters used in high power wind turbines, developing secure real-time communication strategies (CAN Bus etc), developing quality standards for procurement of specified components and understanding / experience of EMI Design.

The successful candidates will be Degree qualified (preferably Masters level), have a minimum of 3 years industry experience / or strong university lab experience in the field of Wind Converters, UPS and Motor Drives and be able to work closely with software as well as other hardware engineers. Knowledge in Wind Energy Business is an advantage and all candidates must be fluent in English. German language will be an advantage.
