My client is an international, high calibre SoC Development company delivering powerful silicon solutions for a vast range of multimedia applications. Since their original breakthrough into 3D graphics they have demonstrated exceptionally strong growth and now create some of the largest and most complex digital ICs / SoC devices available in the market.

The role of the SoC Development Engineer will be to take design concepts and see if they work in real products in the real world. This role is crucial for producing high quality ICs. You will work on work on a variety of challenging and stimulating projects using cutting-edge technologies and tools, and play a crucial role in the design specification, RTL development, ASIC Verification and RTL synthesis, and silicon validation to create first-class, fully functional ASICs.

You will be educated to degree level, having a 1st or 2:1 class degree, with a strong background in digital electronics. You will have a proven background in digital design, either from an ASIC or FPGA background, and be well versed in VHDL and / or Verilog. Equally important are sharp problem-solving skills, and plenty of dedication, drive and enthusiasm.
