Principal Analog IC Design Engineer required by elite Semiconductor firm, Edinburgh based. Candidates will have strong Analog IC Design skills, Audio, ADCs, DACs, line drivers, LNAs, OTAs, Cadence, CMOS.
Our client is renowned for engineering excellence and has a unique opportunity for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join an existing team based in Edinburgh.
They are seeking a highly experienced Principal Analog IC Design engineer to work with them on Analog front end design for power line communications including the design of line drivers, Audio, ADCs, DACs, pipeline convertors and pro gain amps.
Responsibilities include; leading designs for key analog IP or sub-blocks, participate in technical reviews, generate IP as well as specification and architecture definition of analog blocks and systems.
The successful Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will be very skilled at transistor and system level design preferably in deep sub micron CMOS and will have detailed knowledge of the design flow from high-level modeling, through schematic entry, to layout and physical verification.
Strong experience is required in one or all of the following; Embedded power management, Data converter design, Amplifier (LNAs, OTAs, and PGAs), line driver design, Audio circuitry and Digital design skills. Strong knowledge in the following Analog Mixed Signal IC Design tools is also required; Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, Spectre /SPICE, Verilog-A or Verilog-AMS and Calibre.
As a Principal Engineer you will be involved in mentoring more junior engineers and providing technical leadership.
