Careerwise Recruitment have a requirement for a Financial Controller for it's Cork based pharma client.
Experience in manufacturing is an absolute with pharma experience highly desirable. Exposure to Supply Chain and IT would be advantageous.
Excellent opportunity for a high calibre and commercially focused accountant who may have an aspiration towards General Management of a major multinational in the future.
THE ROLE:
*Establish and maintain the organisations accounting principles, best practices and procedures
*Prepare financial reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management
*Direct the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, annual budgets, annual audited financial statements and other required reports
*Interact with corporate finance group for reporting and financing needs
*Continuous improvement in management control, namely in the efficiency of resources and their productivity oriented towards a policy based on cost assessment and control.
*With a focus on the company strategy act as a key advisor to the site General Manager by proposing new methodologies and objectives for the areas under his coordination, as well as the respective investments and necessary resources.
