Systems Software Engineer, Cambridgeshire
We are searching for a Systems Software Engineer to be responsible for developing and maintaining applications, control algorithms, and device drivers.
The ideal candidate for the Systems Software Engineer will have the following profile:
A good and relevant degree
Embedded software development using C and C++
Understanding of software design methodologies
Experience in the implementation of real-time control algorithms
Experience in hardware device drivers and boot loaders
Familiarity with ICE (In-Circuit Emulation) and debugging tools
Experience or interest in the following:
An understanding of formal software test methodology
Understanding /experience of signal processing techniques
MATLAB and instrument control tool-box
Source control tools and practices
Microsoft C# application development
RTOS
Familiarity with RF test equipment and GPIB/USB control
Familiarity with USB device drivers
Two years or more relevant industry experience in embedded software for wireless systems will be a definite plus
