A world renowned provider of Analog Semiconductors across the globe are looking to hire a Graduate Applications Engineer to join their highly successful applications team based in Lancashire. This is a highly technical role, mainly internal with a certain degree of customer interaction with an emphasis on Analog system design and understanding.
The successful Graduate Applications Engineer should bring a strong technical background with experience in design as well as customer sales.
The key responsibility areas include:
*To support the entire analog IC product range of the company
*Schematic and Layout design of prototypes, evaluation boards and reference designs
*Generating documentation including datasheets, evaluation and application reports for customers
*Creating technical sales tools
*Customer support, including training, technical support, troubleshooting, design support and site visits on a European and Worldwide basis
*Creating and giving technical presentations
The ideal Graduate Applications Engineer should possess:
*Keen interest in electronics and technology
*Analog circuit design skills and understanding is highly desirable
*The ability to explain technical aspects and concepts to both technical and non-technical people
*Analytical thinking
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
As well as the above skills the successful Graduate Applications Engineer should be degree educated in a relevant technical discipline such as Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
