Field Application Engineer (FAE) opportunity with a Global Distributor of Electronic Components covering the Southern UK region.
Our client is one of the most respected names within the industry supporting major franchise lines in Analogue and Power Semiconductor technology.
As the Field Application Engineer (FAE) aligned to Analogue and Power technologies you will be field based providing to the Southern end customers ,technical, applications and design solutions on a range of specialist products to the company's design engineering community, utilising previous design and product knowledge gained through education and experience within an Electronic Component Distributor or OEM environment.
You will work with the external sales team focusing on driving demand creation business within a defined customer base where you will influence product selection through demonstration and presentation of hi-tech products and development tools. Additional responsibilities include application note creation, initial hardware and system level design reviews as well as preparation and delivery of technical training material.
We invite applications from industry professionals with a proven track record of design and customer facing support gained within an Electronics Component Distributor or a closely associated OEM, technically qualified with a strong engineering background with in depth technical knowledge of analogue and power products
You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, commercially astute, highly organised, motivated and able to focus on the end result.
