An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer - Electronic Systems to join a world renowned company in Nottingham.
Due to a expansion they currently require a Project Engineer - Electronic Systems to join their expanding team.
The Project Engineer - Electronic Systems will be involved with both technical and commercial aspects of projects on a wide range of products and systems.
Key result areas are: Project profitability, Project completion dates, Engineering design and Customer liaison.
Job role will include:
From receipt of order, being the point of contact for the customer.
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and in budget.
Working closely with engineering on the technical solution.
Overseeing the projects build and test.
Skills / Experience
Good knowledge of Electronic Engineering, ideally HNC or better.
Commercial knowledge to review contract terms.
Ability to liaise with clients, both in the UK and overseas.
Ability to plan workload to meet requirements of clients and production.
Ability to work to cost limitations to ensure profitability of projects.
Any hands-on experience of electronic design & test would be beneficial but not essential.
