Electronic Hardware Service Technician with experience in troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and repairing electronics to component level is required by our client, a leading audio equipment manufacturer based close to Worcester, Stourport on Severn, Birmingham and surrounds.
As a Electronic Hardware Service Technician, you will diagnose and repair professional audio equipment to a component level. This will include the repair and test of customer owned gear to a best practice standard, determining root cause analysis for failures and defects, producing documentation to report on faults found.
To be considered for this Electronic Hardware Service Technician role you will ideally have a City and Guilds/ NVQ in Electronic Servicing (or equivalent) with previous experience in performing bench repairs for either electronics or audio products.
You will have experience of; troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and repairing electronics to the component level with the ability to read schematics and perform PCB level repairs and to have excellent problem solving, analytical, organisational and communication skills.
An interest in audio, maybe experience as a musician or front of house support is a bonus but is not essential.
