Based in Central London, our client is a very well-funded electronics company in the field of hardware acceleration. They seek a Senior Hardware expert to play a key role within the development of their core products; a role which will ultimately help to grow and shape the business.

This role is suitable for a highly experienced Hardware Engineer with at least 10 years' experience in the hardware field. The successful candidate will play a high level role, architecting and implementing FPGA applications, working closely with the product and management teams to provide input and leadership in the development of the hardware product roadmap, keeping an acute awareness of technical developments and leveraging new technologies to continually drive product improvements.

Required:
*Degree level qualification (2.1 preferred) in Electronics or Computer Systems Engineering
*An extensive background in electronic systems and FPGA design
*Solid digital design experience and experience with FPGA product lifecycle tools including VHDL, Verilog as well as RTL simulators (such as ModelSim).
*Experience in taking a product all the way through to market
*Excellent leadership qualities and communication skills

Preferred:
*Software application development experience (Linux)
*Knowledge of networking protocols
