Senior Digital Design Engineer - Permanent - Switzerland

A highly experienced digital design engineer with a strong background in digital ASIC development is currently required by an established semiconductor company in Switzerland

You will have the opportunity to take a lead development role developing technically innovative ASIC technology for energy efficient power, signal management, logic, medical and custom electronics

Responsibilities

  • You will work within a small design team in tight collaboration with worldwide departments
  • Design and verification of low-power digital blocks and complex mixed-signal system on chip designs
  • Participation into the feasibility of new products and to the architecture definition of low-power SoC ASIC
  • Logic synthesis, DFT, STA, automatic test pattern generation

Essential Experience

  • 8+ years experience in low power digital design experience using VHDL, System Verilog knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Strong background in embedded microcontroller system design
  • Master the entire digital flow from specification to the synthesised netlist, STA, ATPG
  • Ability to operate as a digital lead designer for complex digital/MS chips
  • A proven track record of successful designs from the system concept to working silicon involving: Specification and test plan development, design implementation, CAD tool knowledge, embedded processors, DFT
