A talented Software Architect 3G Modem has great opportunity to work with an innovative team for a leader in the wireless semi-conductor sector.

As a Software Architect 3G Modem you will be:

* Become Technical interface between Customer and our R&D
* Capture customer feedback and translate this into improvement requirements in alignment with R&D
* Plan and drive verification on solution including Lab test and Field Test
* Communicate to customer on progress on improvement activities including test results
* Facilitate the improvement solutions to customer base and drive roll out of the improvements into the customer product portfolio


The SW Architect 3G Modem will be working on customer projects tailoring our clients standard solutions to meet customer specific requirements during product lifecycle

* Build up understanding in the complete System SW Architecture including insight in Customer SW Architecture to understand possibilities and constrains
* Work on feasibility across SW components and drive R&D teams to solutions
* Create and maintain SW Architectural documentation
* Support Marketing and Program in early phase for projects setup for SW approach and work mode alignment

Technical competencies for Software Architect 3G Modem :

- Embedded SW
- GSM Modem SW, RF driver, L1, L2, RR
- UMTS SW lower layer
- Debug, Lauterbach, Tracing
- SW Methodology, SW development processes

Other Qualifications:
- Flexibility, business travel is part of the job - indication 60 days per year
