Prestigious international electronics client is seeking a lead hardware engineer to support the development of electronic hardware for a range of new products for the defence market.
Prerequisite Engineering skills:-
Altium Designer/ equivalent
Analogue and digital electronic design
PCB design & layout
EMC
FMEA analysis
MTBF analysis
FPGA – Xilinx preferred
DSP
Management of full project hardware development lifecycle
Management of deliverables, timescales, small budgets
Knowledge of manufacturing standards, regulations, compliance etc..
Strong leadership qualities are necessary. We are looking for you to be the ‘go-to’ team leader for design issues, bottle-necks etc…
Industry knowledge, if you have worked within the defence, MoD, MoJ, homeland security sector previously or current you will be a very close match to our current requirements.
