A Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) Design Engineer is required (junior or mid level) in the South East with an internationally recognised brand to form part of an established team focussed on designing / developing Switch-Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) and Power Electronics, DC-DC converters, AC-DC power conversion for a wide range of applications in the defence sector.
One of the largest and well reputed in its field, this Power Supply company seek a Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) Design Engineer with a keen interest in SMPS / Power Electronics ideally with some demonstrable industry experience or alternatively, a strong graduate with an interest in power technologies.
The SMPS Design Engineer will work within a small team to develop power supply technologies and receive on-the-job training by Senior Design Engineers.
The SMPS Design Engineer will be degree qualified in Electronics (or related) ideally with 1-2 years demonstrable experience in an Electronics Design Environment. He / She will demonstrate a good understanding of SMPS topologies/technologies, AC-DC, DC-DC, basic analog circuitry, EMC, magnetics, control theory and a keen interest in power electronic components.
