Embedded Software Engineer - Linux/Android - Contract - Belgium
An expanding start-up company specialising in embedded software development for consumer electronics technology is currently recruiting for an experienced embedded software engineer with excellent knowledge of C/C++ in an embedded Linux/Android environment for an intial 6 month contract opportunity.
Essential Experience
- Expert knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++
- Experienced in developing software for embedded OS such as Linux or Android
- Comprehensive knowledge of full software life-cycle including specification design, test and documentation
- Proficient in problem solving and debugging skills
- Hands-on experience developing for embedded platforms and/or real-time operating systsmes
- Experienced with softare design methodologies including some experience with UML
- Strong familiarity with testing methodology and automated testing systems
