Further information

Based in Scotland, our client is a renowned provider of custom FPGA solutions. They are currently seeking one, possibly two FPGA Engineers to join them, to work on leading-edge high speed hardware products.

The successful candidate will join an experienced innovative FPGA design team, and work on the entire product development lifecycle. FPGA Design engineers form the very core of our client's business, hence your work will be instrumental in the technical direction and success of the company.

Candidates must hold a good relevant Degree along with proven industry experience in FPGA design using VHDL, and strong ability to create high quality specifications and design plans. Experience of designing with Altera FPGAs would be a plus, as would a good understanding of networking technologies (Ethernet, packet processing etc), however more importantly is a solid grounding in FPGA, plenty of self motivation, and willingness to learn.

This is a great chance to work in a real cutting edge environment, earn a competitive salary and gain some great experience in an area which is becoming increasingly important in today's electronics industry.

Key words: FPGA, digital, design, VHDL, Verilog, hardware, Xilinx, Altera, Networking, Ethernet, Scotland, UK.
