Our client, a successful international semiconductor manufacturer currently seeks a Principal Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design team leader for their site in Austria.
The Principal Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design will be leading a team of up to 10 Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineers with Automotive products consisting of sensor interfaces, power stages, communication interfaces and power management units on a single system chip.
In this role you will be transferring the product concept/spec to the transistor level design and layout. This will involve technical supervision of the design, simulation and layout teams, setting up simulation plans for the pre - silicon verification and technical reviews. The position also involves technical contact with external Automotive customers.
Industry degree qualified (or equivalent), the successful applicant will have experience gained within a similar position, will preferably have a strong background in Automotive design or alternatively power management including DC-DC convertors, linear regulators, buck-boost convertors and High Voltage. A strong knowledge of Cadence design tools required and knowledge of UNIX and VHDL-AMS is desirable.
A highly motivated individual with strong team leading skills and experience is sought, along with excellent communication skills in English and with German a plus.
