You'll need excellent knowledge of High Speed Digital Design, Analogue and Digital Circuit Design, PCB Layout / Test ideally gained within a Commercial sector such as Consumer Electronics or Telecoms Sector. To secure a role as Principal Electronics / Hardware Engineer you will need to be able to demonstrate significant commercial awareness to bolster your design skills as you will be a design authority within the business and a key influencer on technical matters.

It's highly likely that you will have gained experience as an Electronics Engineer or Hardware Engineer working on digital and analogue based technologies and will have shown a track record of high achievement or progression.
