Video Processing Manager position based in the Home Counties - FPGA, ASIC, SoC, Design, Video.

Our award-winning Semiconductor client is pioneering the latest in Video Processing technology. Due to ongoing success, they now seek a Video Processing Manager to head up a small team of engineers developing complex FPGA based SoC video designs.

This role spans technical hands-on work and leadership. You will apply your design expertise to develop video processing and video codec functions on FPGA, developing video algorithm models and ensuring the release of timely, bug-free video IP. The role offers plenty of room for innovation within the field of video processing and also opens the door to drive developments within other areas of the organisation, given your ability to generate tool, IP and silicon requirements for future road mapping.

An established FPGA/ASIC Development background is required, with strong hands-on skills in Verilog/VHDL or SystemVerilog. Experience in the design of video codecs (HEVC, H.264, MPEG2 etc) or video processing algorithms equally important, together with an interest in adopting a 'hands on' management role. Plenty of creativity, drive and team motivational skills are a must.

Key words: Digital, Hardware, FPGA, ASIC, IP, VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, Video processing, codec, HEVC, H.264, H.265, MPEG, algorithm, C++, SystemC, Manager, South East, Home Counties, UK.
