An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to join an established HD Video IP company based in the Thames Valley. This hire will be of key importance within the ASIC group, taking Lead responsibility for the Verification activity, essentially setting up the ASIC Verification environment and introducing advanced verification methods to the team. As Senior Engineer you will take care of chip and block level Verification and implement bespoke Verification plans for the company's devices.
The successful candidate will have profound experience in digital ASIC Verification, with up-to-the-minute knowledge of the latest Verification tools and languages (SystemVerilog / Specman / SystemC). Equally this hire will have a strong handle on strong-end SoC design in RTL. Experience working in the video or consumer electronics sector would be beneficial, but not key.
On a personal level the successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic , organised individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to lead fellow team members and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
