Embedded Control Systems Engineer-C/C++ required to join a pioneering company. The Embedded Control Systems Engineer role is based in the Wales but is commutable from Birmingham, Telford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton, paying £35k-£42k + bens dependent on experience. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.

As the Embedded Control Systems Engineer- C/C++ you will be responsible for the development of my client's products, from system software design, embedded software development, system integration, fault finding, diagnostics and analysis. You will also be required to liaise with all company departments, customers and sub-vendors in order to meet all contractual and specification requirements and to co-ordinate project activities.

The ideal Embedded Control Systems Engineer will have an engineering degree, experience of working with embedded controllers written in C / C++, excellent knowledge of control theory and/or motion control, a good understanding of various communication protocols including RS232, SPI and CAN.
Knowledge of MATLAB or Simulink would also be advantageous.
