An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Firmware Design Engineer to join an international electronics company based in the South West.

The successful candidate with be responsible for leading the Firmware team through the design and implementation of Cryptographic projects. This is very much a 'hands-on' position in which you will Design and Implement both mathematically and logic defined algorithms, produce high quality documentation and oversee the workload of FPGA design engineers.

Candidates must have extensive experience of VHDL design for FPGA, with hands-on experience in ModelSim and TCL scripting. Experience in cryptography and cryptographic devices would be beneficial, although not essential.

Suitable candidates need to have lived in the UK for at least 5 years to satisfy full security clearance to SC level clearance.
