Based in Cambridge, our globally-renowned Semiconductor client is seeking a Senior ASIC Design Engineer to join their rapidly expanding SoC Design team The team is reputed for excellence and world-class design solutions, and is presently developing the very latest 3D graphics chips for the mobile market.
In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved in every stage of the silicon design process, from specification, through tape-out to final product delivery. Senior engineers are instrumental in the design process and expected to lead more junior engineers within the group.
This role of the Senior ASIC Designer requires thorough technical experience in the design of complex digital blocks, with hands-on involvement in at least one tape-out. Expertise is needed in RTL design, simulation and verification, along with ideally some experience of Synthesis and STA. Expert skills in VHDL / Verilog / SystemVerilog are of course essential. Experience working in the following is of particular interest:
*2D/3D Graphics
*Video codec
*CPU subsystems
*Network controllers
