The Company
A small dynamic Private Limited company based in Hampshire. The company designs and develops bespoke computational electromagnetic modelling (CEM) software to address problems of EMI/EMC, installed antenna performance, radiation hazards and signatures (in both the radar and infrared environments) and provides sales of the successful Ship Electromagnetic Design Framework (Ship EDF) suite of tools and consultancy worldwide. They provide a professional design and assessment consultancy to address electromagnetic compatibility and signatures issues for both military and civil clients, together with sales of the Ship EDF software suite.

The Job
The company is looking for an additional member of the technical team to help the company grow. The work will cover a wide range of technologies and applications and the successful applicant will need to develop a wide range of skills to meet the demands of the post. The applicant will need to familiarise themselves with the highly effective but complex Ship EDF software suite, which will require the development of CAD skills and a thorough understanding of applied electromagnetic problems and solutions. There is scope ultimately for project responsibility in one of several technology areas. Furthermore, it is also likely that the successful applicant will be required to support the Company's marketing activities as applicable within developing technology areas. Training will be provided where appropriate.

The Individual
The individual must be qualified to at least degree level in a technical discipline (e.g. physics or electrical/electronic engineering) and have a background that includes some CEM experience. The applicant must be self-motivated and work closely as part of a small but very capable team in a dynamic environment and have a willingness to learn. Most of our work involves a close liaison with the client therefore it is essential for the individual to be able communicate effectively on several levels.

Salary
Salary will be determined by experience and suitability.
