Responsibilities
1.Develop, implement and maintain a strategy for conducting software quality assurance in development projects.
2.Produce and maintain evidences of quality assurance process activities.
3.Coordinate with, and make use of results of design verifications, tests, validations, reviews, audits and problem management.
4.Assure engineering compliance with customer and internal requirements for managed new product introductions.
Duties:
1.Develop and maintain Project QA Plans.
2.Conduct QA Audits and Reviews within the software development lifecycle.
3.Ensure that project non-conformances are identified and corrective actions are taken.
4.Provide QA results to the project team and appropriate managers.
5.Provide measures of QA effectiveness.
6.Support the NPI milestone process.
7.Lead and coordinate development process improvements.
8.Participate in risk management meetings.
Mandatory Skills
1.Must possess basic understanding of project management principles and techniques as they relate to software project planning, implementation and tracking.
2.Must possess fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, methods, tools, standards, organisational and team dynamics, interpersonal relationships and professional ethics.
3.Self-motivated, with ability to deal with tight schedules, and rapidly changing priorities.
Preferred Skills
1.Working knowledge and experience in software process improvement models like CMMI, TickIT, SPICE or AutoSPICE.
2.ISO9001 lead auditor/auditor qualification.
Education
1.Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline.
Experience
1.Experience in software quality assurance
