Based in Wiltshire, our client is currently seeking a 6 month contract Test Development Engineer for a leading wireless communications company. The successful Test Development Engineer will be capable of automating a set of RF design verification and production tests using Perl scripting language as well as having a strong understanding of electronic hardaware, test equipment and RF measurements.
Key Requirements:
Good Perl scripting skills in a PC/Windows environment are required.
A reasonable appreciation of electronic engineering principles, test equipment and measurement techniques is required.
Any knowledge of WCDMA or LTE RF testing and related 3GPP standards would be relevant.
A degree in electronic engineering or related technical subject is preferred.
Experience with Perl scripting, test automation and RF measurements is preferred.
