Electronics Development Technician - Immediate start

A leading Oil & Gas company in South Wales is looking for two electronic development technicians to join their growing R&D team. They are looking for enthusiastic engineers to support the design team and be instrumental in the test and development of their downhole and borehole technologies.

The successful Electronics Development Technician will be responsible for performing product approval testing to meet environmental and international standards. The recording of the data is key to the role and will be a very important for future testing.

In this role, you'll be required to assemble and test the prototype electronics designs plus produce test plans and carry out established test procedures. You'll be responsible for trouble shooting, fault finding and assisting the team where necessary. Additionally you'll be asked to produce specific PCB's using the layout tool CAD.

Electronics Development Technician Technical Skills:

*Analogue/Digital Electronics Testing
*Fault finding to component level
*PCB Layout (CAD)
*Testing Design & Documentation
*Soldering (SMT/Through Hole)
