Engineering Manager (Networks) Sydney, Australia
I am keen to speak with Engineering Managers with a background in telecommunications and specific focus within the networks division.
This role is based in Sydney, Australia with elements of worldwide travel.
The visa to enter and work in Australia would be part of your package.
If successful you will be leading the day-to-day running of the clients core network product development team.
An EXCELLENT opportunity, this role is suitable for an engineering professional who has the following key skills - do you have these?
LEADERSHIP - of small to medium size software developments (5>50 people)
KNOWLEDGE - of IP soft-switching with focus on SIP/RTP and RoIP.
KNOWLEDGE - of both wireless infrastructure, subsystems AND RF techniques.
KNOWLEDGE - of wireless voice and data standards (eg DMR, TETRA, P25, GSM, UMTS, LTE)
Defence, Hardware and associated manufacturing experience would be advantageous so please do include an update on these elements if you have it!
The position is salaried - initially offered on a 1 year contract to be extended by mutual agreement. The salary is negotiable dependent on experience and interview.
