This is a fantastic opportunity for a Control Systems/Software Engineer to join a firm in the delivery of bespoke engineering schemes for complex offshore applications.
The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work with clients across the offshore oil & gas, offshore power and submarine telecom industries.
Duties will include design and programming of control systems. You will be involved in the whole software/systems life cycle, from design through to coding, testing, installation and configuration and documentation. You will be working with project teams interfacing with hardware engineers to ensure customer deadlines are met.
Successful applicants will have relevant programming experience and a Computer/Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent and/or comparable industrial experience. You will also need a proven track record of the Siemens or Allen Bradley ranges of PLCs, RSView, InTouch or Citect SCADA variable speed drives.
