Due to continued growth and new product development this growing technology company is now seeking a Firmware Engineer to join their growing Research and Development team working on their wireless, communications and telemetry products. The role is based in the Basingstoke area commutable from the likes of Reading, Newbury, Andover, Guildford, Winchester, M3, and M4.
These high technology company experts in their field have been established for over thirty five years and provide a range of wireless products and systems to variety of clients in a number of domains.
As Firmware Engineer you'll join the company's Research and Development Team coding microcontrollers predominantly in C and also be working on user interface development for control purposes. You'll be happy to work in a fast paced environment dealing with internal and customer's challenges effectively and professionally.
To be considered for the role of Firmware Engineer you'll be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline Electronics, Electrical, Software Engineering (or similar) or have experience in a similar Firmware role. You'll be confident in your own abilities and coding/design. You'll be a motivated self-starter and be happy to communicate with other engineers on a day to day basis.
Required Skills
*Embedded C for microcontrollers
*ARM, PIC, Atmel, 8051
*Protocols (RS232,RS485,SPI)
*User Interface (VB.NET)
